Shaping Policy. Amplifying Youth Voices.

May 19, 2026

One of our Legal Advisors, Miss Vision Kafui, at Lead Connect Global had the privilege of participating in the Youth Consultation on the Affirmative Action Act (AAA), convened by AfriYAN Ghana in partnership with Plan International and NETRIGHT GHANA , under the RWVL Project funded by Global Affairs Canada (Affaires mondiales Canada).

Held at the Marie Stopes International Conference Room, Tesano, the consultation brought together young people, particularly young women and marginalized groups, to increase awareness of the act and ensure its provisions reflect the real-life realities, aspirations, and intersectional needs of Ghana's youth towards gender equality.

Vision made meaningful contributions to the session, offering legal perspectives, practical insights, and broader input to help shape a more inclusive and equitable act that truly speaks to the needs of young people in Ghana.

This participation was made possible through Lead Connect Global's membership with AfriYAN Ghana, a reminder of why meaningful partnerships and community engagement matter.

We remain committed to using our expertise to advance justice, equity, and the rights of young people in Ghana and beyond.
