Compassion and Social Intervention Department
The Compassion and Social Intervention Department at Lead Connect Global is dedicated to delivering timely, equitable and impactful humanitarian support to vulnerable and marginalized communities. The Department focuses on addressing immediate needs such as food, shelter, health, education support and basic household items, while also promoting long-term social resilience, inclusion and empowerment.
Guided by the UN Humanitarian Principles of Humanity, Neutrality, Impartiality and Independence, the Department ensures that assistance is provided with dignity, without discrimination and free from political or ideological influence. Through partnerships with communities, civil society organizations, corporate donors and development actors, it mobilizes resources, volunteers and expertise to create meaningful social impact.
The Department plays a critical role in reducing poverty, alleviating suffering and supporting marginalized populations, contributing directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 5 (Gender Equality), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
